Ready Steady Girls Construct! DYW Programme

In conjunction with BAM Construction hWS are delighted to be involved in the Ready, Steady, Girls, Construct! DYW Programme. This is a programme that will focus on attracting female pupils into the construction industry by providing with industry insight, formal training, work experience and employability skills.

The programme will be run across two construction projects within the Glasgow City Council area. This will provide pupils with real-life experience across live projects and access to industry professionals.

Working closely with Developing the Young Workforce, we targeted all high schools in the Glasgow City Council area to identify suitable candidates. From this, 12 pupils were selected to complete the programme.
