Glasgow Women’s Library

Part of the ongoing regeneration of Glasgow’s East End, Glasgow Women’s Library is an outstanding refurbishment of the B-listed former Bridgeton Library.

The refurbishment sensitively transformed and opened up the historic building so the library could host a range of cultural activities.

A modern mezzanine floor provides a tranquil reading area that can accommodate group meeting, and the upper floor is now fully accessible from a modern lift structure appended to the gable of the building.
