Brookwood Villa Refurbishment
Located on Drymen Road, adjacent to the state of the art Brookwood Early Years facility, this project involves extensive refurbishment and restoration of the existing stone building to create a community use facility that will accommodate a number of activities including: nursery and after school provision, local authority use; business and training, and public meetings.
The works will commence mid-October and the completed facility will complement the highly acclaimed East Dunbartonshire Council early years facilities in Bearsden, Milngavie and Kirkintilloch.
The project will significantly enhance nursery services and support a wide range of community uses. The investment will also deliver significant benefits to local communities including support to local SMEs, engagement with the local community and academic institutions and employment and educational opportunities including apprenticeships, recruitment and trainings.
This project is being delivered by hub West Scotland on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council. Designed by Holmes Miller, Will Rudd Davidson and Baker Hicks, the construction works will be delivered by our supply chain partner, Linear Design & Construct.
