Barrhead High School

Barrhead High School is located in Cowan Park in East Renfrewshire.  the school accommodates 800 pupils and incorporates facilities for vocational training.

The new school was built adjacent to the existing school, which remained open throughout the construction period.

To achieve value for money, the same design team and main contractor was procured to deliver the school jointly with West Dunbartonshire Council’s Our Lady and St. Partick’s High School.  this provided substantial savings to both local authorities.
