International Woman’s Day

At hub West Scotland we are proud to be associated with some truly remarkable women.

As well as being our Chair, Jo Armstong is currently Chair of the Ofgem’s Electricity Network Innovation Competition Expert Panel, an appointed Member of the Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS) and an independent non-executive director of the Wheatley Group. Previously, she was Chair of Enable Scotland and a non-executive director of Social Investment Scotland.

Two of our directors are women;

Our Partnership Director, Angeline Robertson started her career as an Architect and has 25 years’ experience of project development and construction for both the public and private sectors. Angeline is responsible for business development, design management, consultancy services encouraging joint-working and providing support to our public sector clients in consolidating initial development ideas into feasible projects.

Tracey-Leigh Findlay is our Development and Commercial Director. Having entered the construction industry over 30 ago as a trainee Quantity Surveyor, Tracey-Leigh’s whole career has been in the construction industry and can appreciate and understand the challenges Women face to succeed in what was when she started and to a large extent still is, a male dominated industry. Tracey-Leigh has been fortunate enough to work with some incredibly talented women over her career in construction and this continues in her role at hub West Scotland  where she works alongside professional women managing our projects through their design development cycle to ensure we deliver on time, to budget and to the required quality that our client deserve.

Today is International Women’s Day. We are proud to be associated with these remarkable Women.
