We are pleased to see the completion of the new extension at Carntyne Primary School in partnership with Glasgow City Council. The facilities are now handed over to the Council to enable final fit out and commissioning of classroom equipment all significantly ahead of the 2023-2024 school term.
Hub West Scotland completed the new primary school in 2018. The school’s roll increased, exceeding the original projections, and Hub West were asked by Glasgow City Council to manage the procurement and delivery of the extension. The extension will provide four additional classrooms along with enhanced outdoor learning and play areas.
The construction works were carried out by BAM Construction and will be maintained by Robertson FM, supported by architects Holmes Miller, civil and structural engineers Waterman Structures and mechanical and electrical engineers Hawthorne Boyle, and cost consultant Brown and Wallace.
