Building Warrant granted for Refurbishment of the Brookwood Villa, Bearsden
The building warrant has been granted for refurbishment of the Brookwood Villa in Bearsden following earlier confirmation of planning approval for the project.
This East Dunbartonshire Council project, adjacent to the new state of the art Early Years facility, involves extensive refurbishment of the existing stone building as a community use facility which will support activities including: nursery and after school provision, local authority use, business and training and public meetings. It is anticipated the refurbished Brookwood Villa will be leased to a community trust on a long-term basis, who will assume responsibility for the management and operation of the venue. The project will be delivered for the Council by hub West Scotland.
Works are scheduled to start in second quarter 2022.
