Local Councillors visited the new Eastwood Leisure Centre and Theatre Facility as it reached an important milestone of the steel frame being complete. The visit provided an overview of the facilities being provided through the complex including the eight-lane swimming pool, learner pool, fitness suites, four court games hall and theatre.

The £56m facility is being built alongside the existing leisure centre in Eastwood Park and is expected to open at the end of 2027. Once complete, the existing leisure centre and theatre will be demolished, and new landscaped areas created.
