It will provide the Council with much-need modern, fit-for-purpose office space while retaining and restoring a historic building for future generations to enjoy. In addition, the development will transform this area of the town and link with the planned activity at Dumbarton Waterfront. I’m looking forward to seeing the building taking shape over the coming months and to the benefits it will bring to Dumbarton.

“I am delighted with the progress which has been made on the site and it’s great to see the building really starting to take shape. As part of the Council’s commitment to protecting the wellbeing of our communities, we are investing £22 million into building this fantastic new centre.  The four-storey building is set to open in early 2017 and will offer a significant enhancement on the facilities currently available at the Play Drome.”
